We are pleased to announce that the "Blossom Energy G-TES" graphite thermal storage boiler installed at a hot spring facility in Takehara City, Hiroshima Prefecture, has been continuously supplying hot water without any interruptions due to malfunctions for approximately six months since its commencement of operation in March 2026. During this period, approximately 90% of the electrical energy input has been effectively utilized as hot water.
This is the first instance in Japan of a thermal storage boiler using graphite being put into practical use for heat supply, and it is the world's first application of this technology to a hot spring facility (as of August 19, 2026, according to our research).
